Nestled in the Sierra Foothills of Calaveras County, Bonne Terre Farms was purpose-built and designed from the ground up after the property was decimated by the Butte Fire in 2015. It was erected as a living soil farm striving to cultivate only the finest quality sun-grown cannabis using sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices. Our genetics are carefully selected in-house working with some of the best nurseries and breeders. We put an emphasis on selecting and farming resinous strains that will perform well not only for flower production but also for solventless extraction specifically. We focus on resin preservation and quality with our cultivation, processing and storage methodologies. Bonne Terre Farms takes advantage of the Mediterranean-like climate of Calaveras county to grow our premium flower, enjoying long, dry seasons conducive to the equatorial varieties that we grow.

First licensed in 2016, Bonne Terre was founded and operated by Evan Ducharme, an experienced cannabis cultivator and talented entrepreneur. Evan has over a decade of experience growing this amazing plant commercially in both indoor and outdoor settings and has brought all of that experience into designing and operating the farm as it is seen today. With the help of his brother, Mat Ducharme, they were able to develop the farm's operations, but more importantly, they were able to develop a trusted name within the California marketplace. This name has allowed Bonne Terre to work with some of the most well-respected extractors and brands and earned the farm several Cannabis Cups and accolades along the way. Collectively, the Bonne Terre team has over 30 years of cannabis experience helping to ensure consistent, quality product year after year since its inception — a level of quality that our patrons have come to know and expect from us.

Here at the farm, our staff’s backgrounds are as varied as our personalities but the one trait we all share is an absolute passion for the cannabis plant and the desire to share it with the world. Our conviction to excel fuels our pursuit to expand our knowledge and perfect our methods. Our goal is for our products to exceed all consumer expectations.
